A New Mill City Branch is Announced
The board of directors and management team of your credit union are excited to announce the newest branch to serve Mill City Credit Union members. The branch will be located in Brooklyn Park, MN, at the intersection of Zane and 94th Avenues. The location was selected due its proximity to a concentration of current members and because this area is in a growing development.
In 2014, Mill City expanded its charter to not only serve General Mills employees, retirees, and their family members nationwide, but also their neighbors and friends in Carver, Hennepin, McLeod, Meeker and Wright counties. Mill City opened two additional branches in 2015. The first was opened at the General Mills plant in Murfreesboro, TN. The second branch is leased space located in Minnetonka, MN which was previously used by another financial institution.
The new office will be the first branch your credit union has built to serve the public. The approximately 4,000 square foot branch will utilize technology for improved and efficient service, have two drive up lanes and a public meeting room. Mill City has succeeded by providing members the right help at the right time and is looking forward to extending this type of impact to its new area.
The addition of an office in Brooklyn Park will open a valuable service delivery location to many present and future members of Mill City CU. The location was strategically chosen based on traffic and demographic studies which pinpointed the ideal location. A thriving business community is developing in the area, anchored by the addition of a bustling Hy-Vee store. Many other major employers are also located in close proximity to the office. We are anxious to share the Mill City CU brand and exceptional service with the community. ~Kent Greff, Mill City CU CEO
